It has been a busy month and whilst I kept thinking about writing a new post, I just never seemed to get round to it! But here I am now at least 🙂
This month was my birthday which was nice, had my hair done and lunch with my mum in a vegan restaurant I have been wanting to try for ages! It was lush, great food, big portions and of course all cruelty free. I can definitely recommend the Samphire Brasserie in Plymouth and if you check out my Instagram I posted pictures of the lush food I had there, nom nom!
After that I got to spent the Saturday celebrating on a trawler in Brixham trawler race. Something I have never done before, but I loved every minute of it and best of all I got to spend it with two epic people who I love very much 🙂 Was such a lovely sunny day and being out on the sea was such a lovely free feeling. The breeze, music and of course drinkies made it a truly epic way to spend my birthday celebrations. Even if I did end up a tad heat stroke poorly afterwards (lesson learnt will do better in the future lol).
It was also snap election day this month and I got the chance to appear on ITV the next day to discuss our views about the results. It was an interesting experience and nerve wrecking being live on tv, but in the end I barely got to say much on air, something I observed of the other female guest in the second segment too. An intriguing observation wouldn’t you say?
Rehearsals for Jack the Ripper are well under way, in fact our first shows are in two weeks, so that has kept me very busy. Starting to get nervous now!
I also got to take part in being experimented on which was interesting and fun! I love the random things I seem to get involved in these days.
My life is changing so much for the better, and whilst things are still a struggle at time and I have a long way to go, there is so much more good now and I hope it continues to grow.
